Hi everyone, I first off just wanted to say how overwhelmed I was by everyone’s sweet messages a few weeks ago. I truly appreciated each of them. This community has been incredible throughout my journey and I am so grateful for all of you lovely ladies and the support that can be found on here 🥰
It’s been a bit of a whirlwind but last week I had my beta results which were 43,026 and 62,542 2 days apart (I’m much further along than when ivf ladies normally have beta tested which is why they are insanely high but also not doubling every 2 days either!)
I also have had some on/off brown spotting and was told I also have a UTI - fun 🙄 but because of my spotting I was called in early for my viability scan.
I’m so pleased to say the viability scan was perfect, I saw the little miracle shrimp, yolk sac and heartbeat ❤️ all looking good so far. They were also able to date how far along I am and I’m 7w6d so a bit further along than I thought too.
After nearly 3 years TTC and 2 unsuccessful ivf cycles, I can barely believe that I am here. There’s still a long long way to go but feeling incredibly lucky to be here but it’s finally becoming a bit more real after a few weeks of being in a complete surreal bubble.
I hope everyone is well and taking care of themselves and want to wish the ladies who are going through their ivf cycles all the best ❤️🍀Xxx

This is the most amazing news, I know how hard this journey is and each stage is like trading on eggshells. What a beautiful thing to see on the scan, congratulations xx
No my clinic doesn't offer them, so I'm happy to go with what they think best. I just had acupuncture and my therapist said it's so hard, but try and forget about the pregnancy and focus on the outcome. So that's my new mantra, just live in a positive bubble if I can xxx
Thank you! It’s not been too bad, just keep wanting to pee and not actually peeing much at all - antibiotics will hopefully sort me out by the end of this week! Hope you are doing well too xxx
Awww amazing news! Just to also settle your mind, once your hCG levels get to a certain point the doubling time increases so it's not like early stages. All the best with the rest of your pregnancy.xxx
Thank you cinders!! 🥰 haha yes I had to do loads of research before my test result so I knew what to expect so it wasn’t a huge shock - it still threw me but I knew the scan would let me know for certain! Hope you’re keeping well and those twins are behaving for you in there! Xxx
I have one on 19th Feb at the clinic but can go into my local EPU at 6 weeks if I want. The only danger there is that it may be too early to see a heartbeat and then I’ll freak out even more! X
Ahh gosh, how far along are you now? Take each day as it comes, if you really can’t bear it head over to EPU to put your heart at ease - they do say the closer to 7w the better for heartbeat but I have seen some ladies on here see it at the 6w mark too! Xx
Yep definitely see if you can hold out - your scan will be at 6+5 then? You may be able to see the heartbeat by then although obviously some don’t until 7w. If you do feel anxious, maybe do some additional hcgs to ease your heart? You’re a strong warrior though, you’ve got this lovely!! xxx
Thank you lovely. Yes exactly I’ll be 6 + 5 by then. Previously I’ve seen heartbeats at this point but every pregnancy is different as we know 🤦♀️. Yes I will maybe do some hCG’s. Good idea xx
Am super happy for you penguin Blue.. get lots of rest and relaxation to help save all your energy for baby and getting past the UTI. Have my fingers crossed for a healthy pregnancy xx
Ohh thank you so much knitting! It is really so kind of you to message! It’s so early that I am very anxious but so glad to finally be at this stage. I hope you’re doing okay and taking some time out to look after yourself xxx
Thank you lablover, that is really kind of you! It’s always exciting (although daunting) to start a new cycle but I wish you lots and lots of luck for it - fingers crossed this one is the one for you 🍀🍀🍀 I’ve heard a FET is much easier on the body and that may just be what you need! Look forward to seeing your updates in the coming weeks xxx
You're more than welcome, happy cooking 😁 Thank you!! We're cooking along nicely at 13 weeks. After over 3 years TTC it still doesn't seem real. Enjoy every second 💜💜
Aww this is exactly what I was like too! It is so up and down mentally but you have got this 🙌🏽 Journalling really helped me in myCycles when I was anxious - do you do anything when you’re feeling that way? xx
Journalling is a good idea! I will try that, yeh I have take up yoga and been doing meditation and even brought adult colouring books. It all does help tbh! Did you do anything? Xx
Journalling mainly - some meditation. I also did acupuncture in my second cycle which I found relaxing but know it’s not for everyone. Colouring books are a great idea though!! Xx
Millbanks! how are you lovely? so funny I was literally thinking of you the other day and wondering how you were getting on - great minds I am doing well - somehow in my 3rd trimester now - it still feels incredibly surreal and so grateful it happened the way it did with me.
Hope you're getting on okay, have you got a transfer lined up soon? I try and check on here when I can to see how everyone's doing as this forum was such a support to me! hope you're doing okay xxxx
Ha! How strange ❤️I'm so glad to hear that - I bet it does!! I think for all of us it's just so unbelievable when it does actually happen.
I'm good thanks - have my transfer tentatively booked for the 13th July - this time PGS embryo / steroids / intralipids / Inhixa / lubion and a massive sprinkling of luck - we'll see. xxx
Omg amazing, not too long to go til transfer day! That’s so exciting!! Have all appendages crossed for you 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽 Lots of new additions in this cycle so hope it does the trick! Did your NK testing come back high? So glad you’ve been able to get the steroids added in, I know some clinics are funny about it! Will keep an eye out on your updates for sure 🍀🍀🍀🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽 Xxxx
It sounds like the right next steps for you hun! It should definitely help -and there’s so many ladies on here that have had success with steroids!!Ahh yes that rollercoaster of emotions - it’s such a nerve wracking time, you deserve this hun and you definitely got this! 🤞🏽💪🏽Xxxx
