Low HCG Beta 💔 14th FET ***Update SCAN with Heartbeat***

Please can everyone comment on if there low beta turned out good or bad?

My Beta today 10DP5DT is only 35. I’d like to here from the bad ones too, I feel I need to be realistic with such a low number.

Hi hun, I’m sorry to hear that. My clinic wants it to be at least 100 at 10dp5dt for the pregnancy to be viable. Having said that, everyone is different and I understand your anxiety. Are you going to have a repeat HCG tomorrow to see if it doubles??? Xx

So sorry to hear you're dealing with this. Mine was 40 at 11dp5dt and I did end up having a miscarriage at 8 weeks - by the time you could see the foetus on a scan it was clearly measuring too small and then miscarried - but at the time I definitely heard from people who'd had low HCG and had things turn out ok. It's a stressful time and may take a while for you to know how things are going to work out, take care of yourself and remember that nothing you do or don't do makes the difference, either the embryo is viable and you have a viable pregnancy or you don't. The waiting to find out is tough, sending a huge hug xx

Hey! Fingers crossed for a little miracle. I had a chemical last month, my first beta was 34 9DP5DT and I was praying it was going to increase but by my second beta it had dropped.

I went straight in for another transfer and I’m currently showing positives on my tests with lines getting darker so far 🤞🏼 Don’t give up xxxx

I am just making sure I update this post, to document and help others. I’ve read a ton of posts over the best few days about Low HCG but many dont relay the ending.

So 10DP5DT 35

Today 12DP5DT 80

It’s increasing how it should but still incredibly low. So am not getting ahead of myself of the research papers I’ve been reading it looks like 85% of women go on to MC when numbers are low to start with. Praying I make it into the small minority and finally get a rainbow baby 🤞🏻 X

14DP5DT - 215 (today).

Interestingly I done a clear blue weeks indicator this morning (FMU). And clear blue say once HCG is 160+ it shows 2-3 weeks. Well I still got 1-2, had my bloods done within the same hour and there 215. Not that accurate then 🧐

I got 168HCG on my bloods yesterday & my clearblue said 1-2 weeks too (today’s test) so yeah it’s not accurate at all xxx

18 DP5DT - 1996

21DP5DT (5w5d) Clearblue weeks showing 2-3 meaning (4-5w) meaning HCG hasn’t doubled since 1996 at 18DP5DT. That is if these clear blue weeks are accurate.

Scan 6w1d - in 2 days time.

Will update for anybody else also going through beta he’ll xx

please don't worry about the clear blue. At 7000 mine showed 3+

the main thing is they double, also, once past 2000 they don't double as quickly.

Hello... thanks for updating this post. I had my first blood test on Friday, 11 days post my transfer. My HCG was 62, which I was told is a little low. I suffered a miscarriage a few years ago and I feel in my gut it’s going to go the same way, but trying to remain positive. I’m back in tomorrow for another blood test. Oh am glad my post is helpful. The amount of posts I’d come across were there was no ending was nearly as frustrating as the low beta.

I am in the EPU in the morning for my first scan. I should be 6W1D. I won’t be happy with anything apart from seeing the heartbeat. My first MC they didn’t take me for a D&C untill I was 10 weeks, because they kept telling me ‘it’s too early’ even though the new I had IVF. There was never a heartbeat but my HCG still climbed to 10,000. That was back in 2018.

Updating my post.

I want good news. Baby is measuring as 5W2D when I am 6W1D (IVF).

Also baby is outside the womb sitting in my c section scar. Hopefully we scanned just as it’s travelling down to MC naturally other than continuing to grow on into my scar as this would be classed as a ectopic. Going back in a few days to discuss management if not mc naturally.

I’ve taken news ok up2 now. In a strange way I feel a sense of relief for the past 3 weeks I’ve had low numbers and CB not switching over when it should, so I’ve always guarded my heart throughout.

***Update, we have a baby with a heartbeat***

Everything has changed!!! 3 days after our EPU scan measuring at just 5+2 with no hb. We had out viability scan at IVF clinic. And. There was our baby! Measuring how he/she should with a good HB!

Baby still is not in the correct place, but the consultant re-assured me she has seen pregnancy located in the c section and they have gone on to have a live birth. We can’t believe it, it’s took us 5 years and 14 FETs to see a heartbeat. We’re definitely still not out the woods, and there’s still massive risks. But meet our baby! 🥰

My hcg was 41 on 11dp6dt. I went in today at 13 dpt and am still waiting for results. I’m so sick over it all and trying to be hopeful. Esp with all of this above and the news you shared Mae. I wish I could change my screenname btw too. Little did I know the 2ww was the least of my worries 🤪 thank you all for support and for sharing.
