I'm on my third cycle and I'm at a new clinic so they're doing things a little differently...
I'm on day 6 of menopur injections and I go in for my first scan tomorrow...but I feel like I'm starting to get signs of impending ovulation (sorry if tmi but discharge) and I'm panicking that they've not put me on the other injection yet to stop ovulation...
This clinic started me a bit earlier (day 2 of my cycle) and are scanning me initially later...but I'm so worried that things are actually going well but I'll be too close to ovulation and have a cancelled cycle!!
Has anyone else been in this situation? I don't remember feeling worried about this at all with my other cycles but also I was just seen more frequently...I think they scanned me on day 4 and I started stims and then they scanned me like 4 days later also...
Thanks!!!

This is my third cycle, and it's funny how different it feels! Menopur has me exhausted this time - and I feel better having spoke to them - my belly is already bloated and tight, so I think something is happening. I had very poor response second cycle so I'm hoping this is better.
Are you in the middle of a cycle also?
Thanks for responding to my slight panic this morning x
It went well, I have 7 follicles all between 8 and 15...so for a first scan they're happy. I'll have another Tues but I'm taking heart in the fact that it's much better news than my last cycle so far!
If you mean “egg white discharge” then this is caused by rising estrogen levels which when you are stimming correlates to the number of follicles you have growing - therefore more follicles maturing = higher estrogen = more discharge. It doesn’t mean that ovulation is right around the corner but a good sign that you are responding to stims
