TWW - Ovitrelle injection and false positives

Hi all, I’m currently 8dp5dt. It was a natural FET and was given 8clicks of ovitrelle on the day of transfer (not sure how much this is). I had a lot of symptoms so tested early on 6dp and got a pretty strong positive. Then realised it was likely to be the ovitrelle. Because I realised that thought I would keep testing to test it out my system but I’ve continued to have strong positives 7dp and 8dp. Is there any chance the injection could have been out my system before day 6? Not sure how much 8 clicks are. I’ve seen posts saying it can take 10-14 days but not sure if this is for a higher dosage when using for egg collection. This is our absolutely last shot after 3 previous failed transfers so pinning all hopes on this and started to drive myself insane. My OTD is actually day 10 so just wondering how much this can change in 2 days if it is the injection. Anyone any experience of this injection with a natural FET. Couldn’t find much on it.

Hi Turnland. Just got to wait for another couple of days and test on the day recommended by your clinic. Keeping everything crossed for you. Diane

Thanks - just need to try and be patient. 2WW in lockdown is driving me mad.

I'm not sure of the answer to this one - but if you were testing out your trigger shot you would expect to see it get fainter before getting stronger again. Wishing you the best of luck xx

Thanks - that’s what I thought but it’s not been getting lighter but then don’t want to get hopes up. Think I just need to wait it out. Not long to go x

Not sure how much dose “clicks” is as my ovitrelle came in 2500 doses (and I had 2) anyway I tested out my trigger shot and it was out by 3dp5dt - I then started to get a BFP at 3.5dp5dt but I had twins.

Only way to know is to test again and see if the line is darker or fainter?

Thanks for this. That is good to know thanks. I think it’s one of these things where everyone is different so I prob just need to be patient but just so hard in lockdown. Not long to go though. X

The package says up to 10 days in your system so 4dp5dt would be the first reliable day to test xx

Thank you - I had mine on the day of transfer but I don’t think it was a full standard dose so probably would be a bit later that day 4 maybe. This lockdown is just making it hard to keep busy and distracted so end up analysing everything. I think I need to just be patient. Thanks x
