Hiya lovely ladies!
What is the opinion from your clinic on COVID vaccines - I have an underlying condition and should be offered one fairly soon? We are planning to do a cycle in April 21.
Hiya lovely ladies!
What is the opinion from your clinic on COVID vaccines - I have an underlying condition and should be offered one fairly soon? We are planning to do a cycle in April 21.
My clinic have said to go for it and I’m starting stims 27th Feb.
The general consensus out ‘there’ is to take it but only have the second dose if you’re classed as vulnerable and you’re pregnant, otherwise don’t have it.
I had mine in January as im a nurse, I contacted my clinic as we are doing a fet in March and they said to have the vaccine, I think as long as you’re not in active treatment (ie taking medication) you’ll be ok 🤞🏼
I manage a GP practice and a vaccine centre, fine to have the vaccine before treatment - I’ve had mine and starting 3rd round in April too. I would though say it’s probably best to contact your practice now to flag that you are due for medical treatment in April- they may invite you sooner. (If you’re in the eligible group due to underline health condition. If you have the vaccine whilst stimming it will be down to the prescriber on the day. Hope that helps.
Im a nurse so had my first one in January, we are due our next FET next month!🤞🏼Just to make you aware though the Pfizer vaccine has been causing disruption to menstural cycles for a lot of people, it made my period come really early so we couldn’t proceed with the FET at that time, for this reason I won’t be having the second vaccination yet.x
