So I've not been on her for a good few months. Just wanted to update you.
My partner's fragmentation and genetic tests have come back normal. He has altered his lifestyle over the last 4-5 months, stopped drinking altogether, wore looser pants, stopped cycling as certain areas can get too hot!?! That sort of thing. Well it seems to have done the trick.
We had 9 fertilised embryos with donor eggs. 8 made it to day 5 today, 6 are frozen and are very good quality with a mixture of A's and B's. They are still observing two until tomorrow.
I don't think we've come this far. I have a good feeling. Still unsure about how many to transfer, but I'm thinking as the quality is very good we'll out one back.
Anyway, fingers crossed for the next few weeks. It's going to be a busy one. We're moving house probably about 4 days before transfer! Eek!

My husband also took action to improve his lifestyle before our donor egg cycle. He also took antioxidants as he had high dna fragmentation. It made a huge difference for us too. I am currently 20 weeks pregnant from our first transfer back in Sept 2019 and we also have 5 blastocysts on ice. I don’t know anything about my donor as this was in Spain but am grateful to her for this opportunity. It’s so amazing and heartwarming when you get positive results so I hope this round works out for you. Wishing you lots of good luck on this tough journey.
Lovely to hear your positive story. We too are having treatment in Spain and only find out her age, blood group and if she's a proven donor. Huge congratulations to you and your Hubby. Very exciting time for you xx
What great results. Congratulations to your partner on turning things round. I could never get mine to stop drinking (or running to burn off the beer belly) even when we were struggling to conceive. We had similar numbers, 8 fertilized eggs ended up with 5 frosties. The result of our first transfer (we put 2 back, one stuck) is just starting to crawl. Very best of luck with the next stages xxx
Wishing you all the luck in the world, our successful de cycle I had a good feeling too, hadn't had it on the previous ones, trust your gut, you've got this! Xxx
These are very good results!! We had 6 out of 8 frozen donor eggs surviving thaw and 4 developing well up to day 3 of fertilisazion. We transferred 2 and one is my 27 weeks baby girl due in april. Good luck, numbers look very promising for you guys💜
Wishing you lots of luck for this cycle - they are great numbers so you must be feeling very happy. Well done to your husband for changing his lifestyle.
We're just entering our 2nd cycle with a new donor (our first failed miserably with nothing to transfer). I'm currently taking buserelin to down regulate and waiting to hear from the clinic re next steps.
Good luck also with the house move. Keep us posted xxx
