I am doing it now. I had my baby after after knowing my husband for 3 months. One try and we got there. We have spent years for the second one and now doing IVF. It's a lot harder than I thought but my son is asking for a sibling so we will do anything!

Thank you for your reply .I have had two children in last 4,5 years . Really want another one but it's not happening . I am booked at Lister in London next week .

Where are you booked at ?

My son has just turned 3 and we have tried for 2 years so I understand. My old boss went to the lister and it went well (she got 3 kids from it). I have moved out of london so I am at BCRM but lister is good by all accounts xx

It's strange how things happen . With my two year old I felt pregnant at first try and this time it's been a year with a miscarriage back in May .

in reply to

Did they tell you the problem might be . With me it's my age and low egg reserve it turned out . I am 42 .

in reply to

They found out my husbands sperms normal forms are only 1%. You can still get pregnant from it (and being a new couple we were having lots of sex) but having a child we can't as much as that first passion! My eggs are aging too. So far I didn't conceive on my first round but I am presently on my FET waiting to find out the results.I am sorry for your miscarriage. Wishing you luck x

in reply to

Thank you !I hope you will have a positive result and your little boy has a sibling .

So sorry for your losses.

We had ivf at the Lister in July, they were great and very thorough. Expensive but worth it xx

Did you just have one cycle ?

Congratulations on your pregnancy! I hope it all goes well .We are in a different situation. I have been pregnant 4 times but lost 2 of them . I am hoping for one child.

Thank you. The nurses are great and they do a lot of tests and scans compared to other clinics, they leave nothing to chance and were fantastic with us. Wishing you all the best xx

I am beginning a donor embryo FET at my next cycle. I didn’t attempt to use my own eggs due to my age of 42 at the time when I went to the clinic with my husband. My doctor told me my reserve was low, and wasn’t sure we would get any that were good quality that would make it to implantation. I am now 44. We have two embryos that we will be transferring a 5AA and a 5BB which have been PGS tested,we are hopeful that this will transfer will take.

Hello . I am 42 and low egg reserve but we have two children together naturally so the doctor never said anything about a doner . I am going to try with my own eggs and just will have to see where we get .

Best of luck !!!

Hey katrina16,I had my son naturally with my husband in 2016 after only a few months of ttc.

He will be 5yrs old this summer and we have been ttc naturally now for 3 years. We have had 1 fresh ivf and 1 fet which have both failed. We are having our final go in the next few months.

We have been diagnosed with unexplained secondary infertility. There is nothing wrong with either of us, although I have been told my ovarian reserve is low.

I hope everything works out for you and I understand how frustrating it can be.

Hi Katrina, yes I had my son naturally in 2014... But basically was told due to age I barely had a chance (both husband and wife aging process matters more than just women's age/egg quality etc). Make sure you get all the tests on your husband prior to starting IVF. Our only round of IVF had failed but I did get pregnant naturally the month after so we do think it helped kick start stuff... I also took lots of new supplements too which helped. I am now just on week 12 and am fingers crossing all is normal and healthy with baby. Good luck with your cycle xx

Hi Katrina16, yes we have a 10 year old son, and have been having IVF for 3 1/2 years as couldn't conceive naturally for a 2nd child despite many years of trying, like others have said we didn't make any attempts to conceive our son he was a happy accident, but have suffered secondary infertility due to both male and female factors. Fortunately after many years of trying we are pregnant 25 weeks which is a result of IVF (ICSI). Wishing you lots of luck in your journey :) x

Thank you ! Congratulations on your pregnancy !!

We have two children naturally conceived and my younger one isn't two yet . We have been trying for a year to have a third child but has not yet happened .

It's good to go and get the tests done to see where you both are, it's weird how much your fertility can change in a short period of time and always best to get checked out so you know what's best to do next! Wishing you success for baby no 3! x

in reply toEgilbertpatt

We had all test done elsewhere and apart from my low egg reserve there is nothing wrongs with us . And my age . I am 42 😶
