Hello. Joined only today. Today we found out that we have an egg waiting so we can continue with the IUI treatment. Previously my partner was producing to many eggs so had to cease. Finally feeling like we are moving in the right direction after starting the process in March. Weve had closures, Thyroid issues and then the over stimulation.
Anyone else at this stage ? Many people suaccsseful on first round of IUI??

Sounds like you have been through a lot already glad your finally on your way!
Myself and my wife are currently waiting on my cycle to begin to start our 4th round of iui. We did have a chemical pregnancy last month so although we are devastated it did not progress we did take comfort in the fact the egg did fertilise.
My advice is try not to put so much pressure on it working first time and relax as much as you can. Take time for yourself and take the time to talk with your partner. It can be an emotion rollercoaster.
I have my fingers crossed for you and hope everything goes well in your favour❤️
Thank you for replying and thanks for advise. Sounds like you've also had ups and downs. Weve decided we will only try 1 round of IUI and then move onto IVF.
Hi there, if you don't mind me asking, how did you know know when the treatment was unsuccessful where there signs before the test was taken ? We've had some bleeding today and can't work out if this is period or something else ?? So stressful
Tbh it’s so hard to tell the difference between early pregnancy and period. The only time I did bleed I did become pregnant but suffered a miscarriage a few days later.I have been there trying to make sense of everything and only way to tell is from a test.
Hi. We've had some bleeding today ? On toilet tissue and few drips in toilet. Worried this is her period we are only 4/5 days post insemination. Did you have anything at this stage ?
Hello, I didn’t have any bleeding or spotting but around day 6 post-IUI I did have mild cramps that felt like period cramps, which I MOW think were implantation cramps. Try not to worry and do hold out for the full 2 weeks before taking a test, especially if you had a medicated IUI. The trigger shot that you take contains HCG which is the same hormone that a pregnancy test picks up.
Ring your clinic or dr if you’re worried though and if she carries on bleeding but I promise you that I analysed everything that happened so I know it’s not easy to not worry!
