First BETA results...need some help

So on 16th dec I had my positive test.

On 5jan I have my first scan and they said I should be 7 weeks pregnant. Yesterday I done BETA test and 2day results come back .

Progesterone 88 nmol/L

HCG 9897 iu/L .

Is that good numbers ? ???

First of all congratulations, I had a positive test on 21st Dec and have my first scan 12 January, can I just ask, what is the beta test? I've seen a few people mention it but it hasn't been offered to me with my clinic. X x

Beta human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) is a hormone produced by the placenta during pregnancy, and is typically detected in the blood. A beta HCG test is a blood test used to diagnose pregnancy, and usually becomes positive around the time of the first missed period.

I haven’t had this done with my first one but this time we r bit more scared and still in shock . I done it through GP and 72 h I will repeat again if gone up.

I noticed not every clinic do it so I done it in GP . Xx

Thankyou for your reply, I didn't realise it was something that could be done, I've done a couple of tests since my OTD and all showing positive so I will be content with that while I wait for my first scan, hope all goes well for you X x
