Dear all,I hope you are doing well. I recently went through PGTA tested euploid double embryo transfer (5 days blastocyst). They were transferred within my ERA positive window (normal reports). Today at 14dp5dt, my blood beta HCG came out to be only 36. I am very unsure if this will be it. In fact, I am freaking out of this would be another ectopic (i had one previously which ended up in removal of my left fallopian tube). I will repeat the test in 48-72 hours. But, just looking for some honest feedback/shared experience.
Thank you. Baby dust to all and especially wishes for healthy pregnancy above all.

I had a low HCG on day 12 (106).. I started bleeding two days later so that unfortunately was a chemical pregnancy for us.
It’s the second figure that’s the most important and i’ve read lots of posts that people have had really low HCGs to begin with and the numbers have continued to climb. Wishing you lots of luck xx
Thank you very much for your reply. Sorry to hear about your chemical pregnancy. I am preparing myself for the worst. I will have my second beta in two days.
The worst wait ever. Sorry you are experiencing it.
I don't have a helpful story, but loads of people on here do. But just to say get your progesterone measured if you're concerned about repeat ectopic -that's the number that matters for that, not HCG so much. I found this out when I had one in October.
My EPU is led by the medical lead for the Ectopic Pregnancy Trust. So, I really trust their approach.
- HCG still doubling but overall numbers were lower still.
- clinic had a scan at 5 weeks. No gestational sac seen. There was a 2mm collection/clot seen within the uterus. No sign of ectopic seen too.
Conclusion: still left confused. I have to go tomorrow for a repeat ultrasound. I wonder if someone had similar experience. I do not have any hope at this point.
sorry for your experience, you’ve everything possible, and clinic will hopefully advise as they’ve recommended this procedure. Unfortunately my treatment failed and I feel awful this morning. Just no protocol that provides any certainty. I hope you get answers, we’re all healing with you. Xx
I am sorry about this. The most difficult part of this all is letting this all happen while living a so called 'normal' life. I personally have decided to always pause when we feel like and take short breaks in between cycles if needed. I hope you heal and find peace. Xx
Update: it was an ectopic pregnancy (again). Ended up in removal of my left and remaining fallopian tube. Seems unreal and unfair! But it is what is...
Thank you Millbanks. Stories like this does give me hope to keep on going. We have still some nice PGTA passed embryos. I do not understand why it never implants in my uterus. I am thinking to try a natural protocol next time. I think first I must take some months of break to recover from this.
