Does anyone have info/advice on the covid vaccine and fertility/infertility?! Plan on going through IVF again next year and was planning on getting the vaccine x
Covid vaccine : Does anyone have info... - Fertility Network UK
Covid vaccine
For the pfizer vaccine they say don't take it if you are pregnant or trying in the next three months.
It hasn't been tested on pregnant women or impact on embryo so that is why I am not taking it x
Ok thank you x
Starfish has given you the info you need, more available here: rcog.org.uk/en/news/covid-1...
Thank you x
I have had it now as not currently pregnant or doing an IVF round yet. I work on NHS frontline so decided and wanted to take it. And on reading advice. I also got to talk to a doctor when I got the vaccine. They do a mini consultation with you so you can ask questions then.
I'm also a nurse with the NHS, we don't have a date for IVF just know we want to try again next year
My nurse said that if we want to take the Covid vaccine, we must wait with IVF for over 3 months.
I’ve been offered the vaccine through my role in the NHS and most people I work with have now had their first vaccination. I’m starting IUI this month and have felt really unsure about whether to have the vaccine. The JCVI now say women trying to conceive no longer need to wait before getting pregnant? What are others doing? My gut says to hold off x
