Tips for 2WW?

I am on 2WW, any tips from people on best things to eat/drink/do during this time? I know I can Google but wanted more trusted recommendations! My friend ate lots of pineapple & beetroot and she is 9 weeks now. Any ideas welcome 👍

I’ve been drinking lots of beetroot and Pom juice, together! Apparently supposed to help with blood flow.. but honestly I dont know if it helps. Also the obvious one no alcohol, and cutting down on caffeine.. The TWW is such a difficult time - I’m at 8dp3dt, and time is really dragging!

I think just taking care of yourself is the most important, relaxing as much as possible and treat yourself to that bit of chocolate if you want it. I really believe if it’s going to work, then It will! Wishing you lots of luck 🤞💫

Thanks you are right, I’m not going to send myself mad doing everything as if it’s meant to be then it will work. Ooh Pom and beetroot juice together? What’s that like?! Psychologically though it helps to know I am doing something 👍 Fingers crossed for your testing day🤞, it’s only been 1 day since transfer for me so have ages....😩

It’s a nice combination surprisingly - my own concoction! You’re right, it helps to think we’re doing something which could give us a better end result, and also to feel a bit more in control as during IVF we lose that completely.

Hopefully time goes quickly for both of us! Hang in there x

I don't believe that diet makes much of a difference. Mainly because when I got pregnant, I was having takeaways and drinking coke at home every week. In the three years I was healthy and ate well, I never got a heartbeat or past 5 weeks. I barely had any takeaways before and never had fizzy drinks. So I'd say- eat what you like, treat yourself, eat well but don't change your diet drastically. Have fun stuffing your face 😊

Biggest thing I would say is reeeelax! Eat what makes you happy and do the things that make you most peaceful. Like zebedee said, the time that worked for me was where I didn’t change my diet and ate what I liked, but was also the 2WW I was most chilled mentally xx
