So, my partner was confirmed covid yesterday. Shes not critically ill but it has made her poorly. I know this is so insensitive but im so upset, we have our first appointment on 31st Dec for my gonapeptyl injection and I am frightened they won't see us. We will be 9 days out of the isolation period but im not sure if they'll refuse to see us we are following all guidelines and all we do is go to work and go home, unfortunately both our jobs are front line and as much as I'd like to just stay off work until weve had our treatment its just not possible.
Im too worried to ring and ask. Sorry guys just needed a safe place to rant xxx

Not quite the same, but my husband was told to isolate following being identified as a close contact and our clinic saw me as per my appointment. Despite me not being able to say that my household had not been in contact with a confirmed case.I’m sorry you’re going through this and the added stress it brings. I hope your appointment goes ahead as planned - why not call? Worst case scenario you can get booked in for the first date they are willing to see you?
Thank you for your reply. Maybe we will be fine and they will see us. I'm just not sure on how long they want you to be out of isolation. I'm too afraid to call as weve been waiting 2 and a half years for this day I may just have to call them and see where we stand xx
