Hello wonderful ladies, was just wondering if the injections make you put on weight ? As I’ve put a few pounds on 😣

Yes definitely, I think it’s just water weight though as you grow the follicles x

Yes last cycle I put on 7lb... When cycle finished it came off pretty much straight away... Stimulation causes fluid retention xx

It’s horrible i have been off them a week today and I still feel so bloated and horrible I’m still grumpy then emotional also 😂 my husband thinks I’m the exorcist 😂

I put on crazy amounts of weight and I still haven't lost it. I think some of it was water weight but the rest is clearly hormonal changes that changed my body. I figure that I'll just keep doing what I'm doing and after I get my little miracle (fingers crossed at some point) I can start really hard dieting and exercise plans to lose it. I can only do what I can while staying healthy and not stressing out my body too much right now so gentle everything and just eating healthy :/ Hopefully more will fall off but I will likely be starting meds again so we'll see. It's a price I have to be willing to pay right now. LOL

The cold nights don’t help mind 😂 I have 2 frosty eggs hoping to have it after Xmas they wanted to give my body a rest how’s urs going xx

Like you I have 2 little snowflakes. I wanted to be able to have a transfer this month but after my Chemical this last period has been delayed and now there is a question of whether or not I can do it this month or if I need to have more tests. I'm a bit blue about it but fingers crossed this month or next month I will be going in for a transfer! And I think that the rest is great after a full retrieval! I felt like the queen of seacows after it and it was just horrible! LOL I'm better now but no where near back to normal.

11 lbs and it seemed like overnight. A lot of bloating and fluid retention. It will all be worth it though. Good luck to you. 💛

Yep, I gained 6 pounds in just a week! I felt really bloated and uncomfortable all through stimulation but it all came off within a couple of weeks of stopping. Especially as I got a mammoth period with my BFN 😢 It will sort itself, just focus on the bigger picture x

Yes me too. The hormones feel like they have really slowed my metabolism down. My body just doesn't feel like my body anymore. But hopefully it will be worth it. Just trying to eat healthy and keep moving- I have lost all desire to exercise 🙈

I'm so glad you mentioned this, I actually got on the weighing scales this morning becuase I feel like I have out weight on, I'm glad it's not just me, I didn't really think about the medication, I just thought I'd been over eating too much X

I put on 5kgs! I could not believe it yesterday! I am hoping it comes off soon

Yeah, it's normal! Unfortunately. When I had ivf my stomach was huge, literally looked 4 or 5 months pregnant. Could barely sit down as jeans were so tight around my middle, and my ovaries felt like they were going to explode. It does come off once the drugs exit your system, after egg collection. (just in time to start all over again😏)

I’m on a months rest off it all so will be having FET after Xmas.. I’ve just had my AF so hopefully in a day 3 should be getting bk to marmalade ish 😂😂 xx
