Poorly after frozen embryo transfer - have I ruined it?!

I had my FET yesterday lunch time and tonight after dinner I had an awful pain in my tummy and sorry for the TMI but I spent the next ten minutes on the toilet. That all stopped and then I’ve been violently sick about 8 times. I don’t feel poorly as such and I have struggled with nausea on the hormones but felt better the last few days and stopped taking the antisickness. I’ve got some mild period type cramps now and I’m just so worried that I’ve ruined it all 😔 has anyone had similar symptoms after transfer? I have no idea what could have caused it as hubby is fine.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I’m counting down the minutes until they open! I’m just hoping I absorbed the hormone meds. This process is so grim isn’t it!

Hey- I will get straight to it, I didn’t puke but I pooped like a mad woman the day and day after my FET...I still don’t know why and everything has turned out 🙌🏽 So far; I’m hopeful and feel like your little blastocyste(s) are in their snug! #babydust

Thank you that really gives me some reassurance. It’s so weird it just came from nowhere and then stopped. I still feel nauseas but I have since I was on the oestrogen tablets anyway. I’m literally doing nothing today! X

I’m sorry to hear Goldie, hopefully you feel better now! 🤞🏻❤️One thing I want to say is: because you puked (several times) you’ll have imbalanced your hormones (especially the estrogen that’s taken by mouth) so you need to tell your clinic and most probably they will ask you to get a double dose to re balance them.

Other than that, the embie is fine don’t worry ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thank you, I hadn’t though of that - I’ll ring them as soon as they open. My last oestrogen tablet was 4 hours before I was sick and I managed to keep down the one I took just before bed so I’m hoping at least some of it was absorbed. I’ve never been more sick in my life than I have this year while I’ve been doing ivf 🙄 I think I’m just so sensitive to hormones xx
