HCG 94 at 14dp5dt -low rising

Hi

Looking for some advice … I finally got a BFP 9dp5dt after 3 yrs (3AB embryo)!! However the excitement was short lived when my HCG came back 35 at 10dp5dt, having done repeat bloods, it’s increasing but slowly: 53 at 12dp5dt, 94 at 14dp5dt. My doc wants me to continue testing for the foreseeable until it’s at level she’s happy with, tomo will he 16dp5dt blood test. I’ve been peeing on the sticks which have been getting darker, until today I feel it’s a little tiny bit lighter ;( I test the same time every day, holding pee for roughly the same time.

I’ve been reading that pregnancy is only really confirmed over 100HCG & it should reach that by 14dp5dt

is there still hope?

I think there is definitely hope. Levels are supposed to double every 48-72 hours - and yours are nearly within 48. It could very easily be a late implanter. My sister didn't get an HCG over 20 until 11dpt and that BFP is now 2! Good luck! x

Thanks Daisy, really appreciate your positive vibes, I need it right now <3! Attached is my progression… do you think today is lighter? I use 3 strips at once incase one or two are faulty. Today I ran out of the tests I was using previously so I have 2 different ones - same brand but newer tests.

You are using different strips so I don't think you can compare the two to be honest. I know its impossible not to stress about it but the one thing you can do is think positive xx

It’s so hard not to obsess over line progression but your HCG is going up as it should.

Try not to overthink it, it’s looking good!

It can happen! I was told my low 30s beta wasn’t viable but I’m sitting in a park with my 6 month old drinking a coffee while he naps in the buggy. It’s such a torturous wait, and nothing will make it easier but you can get through it, I’ll be crossing my fingers and toes for you. I gave up on bloods after a few as I couldn’t bear waiting for the phone calls from the clinic and I also chucked out my pregnancy tests - there’s all sorts of reasons they could be lighter or darker. You will be holding your breath for a while - just try to take a deep one every so often. xx

I can’t believe what a stressful time it is waiting for blood results, I naively thought that once you get a BFP it’s time to celebrate! Ya it happened to me my first beta at 10dp5dt was 16 HCG and was slow rising to was told probably not viable .. .she's 8 now it is absolute torture never forget what we went through I was two weeks repeating bloods before they were high enough for a scan. Best of luck 🤞

Thank you so much for the reply & it’s great to hear such a positive story, it really gives me so much hope! I tested today and lines are darker - you’re right, it is torture! Going to get my bloods shortly which will be 16dp5dt, results will be tomorrow 🤞🏼

Thank you Madlex ❤️, I’m so happy 🥹My Dr has requested one more blood test for tomorrow (18dp5dt) & providing there’s a further increase again, my first scan will be booked for 17th August. Praying all will be good tomorrow 🤞🏼

I just wanted to do another update my lastest blood as gone from 276 (16dp5dt) to 679 (18dp5dt) 🥹🥹🥹🥹 My Doc is now happy for me to wait for the scan once I’m back from Vacation on 17th Aug, which will be just over 6 weeks ☺️

Hi all, looking for some more reassurance … as I am having a bit of a meltdown. Currently on vacation & now 25dp5dt … I managed to get some sort of terrible virus, sickness and diarrhea for 7 hours straight… feeling better now but still don’t feel good at all! My last HCG was 679 @18dp5dt, based on doubling every 2 days from there until now it should be showing around 5400 - I thought I’d do a Clearblue with timing indicator, just to be sure everything is ok after last night & that it’s showing 3+ (2753+ HCG) but it’s still showing 2-3 weeks… this doesn’t look good to me. Doesn’t anyone have any advice? Or should I prepare for the worst? I am trying to book a scan in for tomorrow but everywhere seems fully booked!

Hey Madlex, I’ve taken your advice as testing is too stressful for me! My scan showed a 1cm sac which he said was 5w5d, I only did a stomach scan not vaginal & so I’m wondering maybe I could have seen more. He’s saying it’s all within range based on my IVF dates & to come back the following week to check for progression.

I don’t think I’ll be able to relax much until I see a heartbeat at least. Let’s see what Wednesday brings 🤞🏼 Xxx

Oh ya it should have been an internal scan that early on would have seen a lot more so it's great he seen the sac especially since it was a stomach scan . Best of luck glad all's going well . Keep us updated

Ah no so sorry it's horrible so it is after being through all that .....my last pregnancy ended at 6 weeks to I was about 10 days waiting I wanted it go naturally to but I know it can happen quicker than to , mind yourself now xxx
