I've started using the Cyclogest pessaries, inserted one vaginally this morning, no problem at all. So I try to insert one the same way this evening and no matter how far I tried to push it in it just kept coming back out?!?! So I inserted another one rectally in the end which was fine. Has anyone else has this happen? Wasn't expecting it as it was so straightforward this morning!!

Hi Purple, I've always used them rectally for this reason. My clinic actually recommends rectally but not sure why.
How are things going? Xx
Yep think I might need to do that too, just a weird issue haha. Awaiting day 2 call from the clinic in the morning to see how many eggs have fertilised (had 10 mature eggs collected) and how they're going 🤞🤞🤞 xx
I had one or two come out but used a different applicator and that seemed to do the trick! (Utrogestan not cylogest but think they are v similar??!) mostly it was fine though! Never told to do it rectally at all! Have read you can but my clinic didn’t say so! Well done for 10 eggs hope they fertilise for you! X
I had this happen a few times randomly and like you it threw me off guard, i had to push it up n almost push it to one side as if to lock the slimy fella in place. That did the trick 👍
Always put mine in rectally, less discharge, they dont pop back out just easier to put in and keep in also no thrush these little bugger play havoc with the thrush for me!
