I’m currently on day 31, I took letrozole this cycle and I think I ovulated around day 18/19. I took a test this morning and a faint pink line can up straight away. It probably doesn’t look that pink on the photo but it is although it’s very light. I’ve read mixed reviews of the tests and just wanted everyone’s thoughts. I’ve got a digital one upstairs but I don’t want to waste it. I don’t know what to think as if it’s positive should it not be darker?
Thanks in advance xx

Ive never had a false positive with an FRER. If its negative its always been stark white, absolutely nothing to see. FRER's pick up very low readings of hCG (think its around 6 or 7) so it would be worth hanging off a couple of days. I know the temptation is there to do oone every day (I used to do the same) but you get a far better reading if you can hang off. The other thing that I have used in the past are cheapy ovulation sticks which show positive with a pregnancy too.xx
Its really hard not to look at the internet, I do it too.....think most of us do to be fair! Good luck.xx
Congrats on the positive. Try and do a digital test tomorrow. Its great to see Letrozole working!
I have unfortunately had a false positive on one of these. However the purchase was from amazon and after reading the reviews a number of women had the same issue so unfortunately I had a bad batch.
If the second line appeared immediately and it’s pink (not clear) then it’s a positive result. If your period is late the second line should be darker than it is, but it might just be less visible in the photo than in person. Wishing you all the best! ✨
Thanks for taking the time to reply. I’m not sure when I exactly ovulated. My cycles have been a bit all over the place of late so not really sure when I’m due. I’ll test again tomorrow. Many thanks x
