Headaches

Did anyone else suffer from headaches taking progynova? Not sure if it’s that or just coincidence. I don’t remember this last time.

I had horrific headaches when I was taking progynova, I tried drinking more water than normal which was ok if I didn’t have to go far from home lol I hope they ease soon for you x

That’s good to know. I don’t remember this from last time but I do remember feeling crap. I’m rubbish at drinking water so should really focus on that xx

I am currently on them and I was really dizzy day 2 and 3 but then it went. Headaches are listed as a side effect but hopefully it will clear soon. If it continues and is bad then I would speak to your nurse xx

Thanks. I never bother looking at the side effects in case I imagine them lol. I remember feeling rubbish last time but don’t think I had headaches. Hopefully they’ll die down soon xx

Yes it gives me crazy headaches! Like E mentioned, chug loads of water, it does help a bit xx

Oh my god I could’ve written this! 5th time on progynova and remember not feeling great last times, but this time the nastiest headache has shown it’s ugly face exactly three days into my start taking it... it’s literally blinding me (sensitive to light, nauseating/dizzying me). Hang in there and hope we both feel better soon!

How are you feeling today? In the worst/best case it’ll improve when we start the pesky pessaries - at least some more hormonal balance then... One more week to go I guess until then...

Not feeling too bad at the moment but was the same yesterday but hopefully it’s eased. I’ll start drinking lots of water just in case. I didn’t sleep well with hot flushes but not sure if that’s coincidence too. Oh the lovely pessaries lol but needs must 🙈. How are you? Xx

How was your day? Hot flushes - definitely a side effect. Have had them on other rounds. Not yet this time around but it’s probably only a matter of time... the headache I woke up with eased off over the course of the morning and I’ve been ok since. Fingers crossed it stays that way! Night night!

Not too bad. Could feel a headache niggling but much better. I’ve now stocked up on paracetamol just in case xx

Hey lovely, yes I did, everytime I took it. I think I even put a post up about it as it was really bugging me too. I was on it for my FET and seem to remember it being fine once I introduced the progesterone. Drink lots of water and rest where you can xx

Bring on the progesterone! Never thought I would say that 🤣. I better up my game with drinking water then. I’m terrible but will definitely try as these headaches are not nice xx

I started getting migraines a few days into taking Progynova. Some days I couldn't get out of bed it hurt so bad, the only thing I could do was try to sleep it off. Lots of water helps, I also had a cooling gel mask which eased it while it was cold. Hopefully you feel better soon. X

I had headaches around ovulation time I’m on 4mg daily

I didn't get them all the time but had a couple of bad ones that lasted longer than 24 hours. At that point I looked at the side effects and they are on there. Hope you feel better soon. Xx
