For those of you that have been prescribed Clomid, did you get headaches? I'm aware they are a potential side effect but I have been really struggling with them, almost daily over the past week. Any good tips on how to ease them? Taking pain killers but not really helping much xxx

Hi lovely, sorry to hear you had some horrid side effects as well. Hope you are doing ok. I'm only on cycle 2 out of 6. First cycle 50mg and overstimulated, felt really rough. This cycle taking 25 mg and headaches terrible. Awaiting scan Friday so will ask then what I can do. Thanks for advice, i am making sure I keep my fluid levels up !! Xxx
its great that your body is responding to a lower dose. I hope your okay now and your ovaries have settles down after the over stimulation. I wish when i was taking the clomid i did a iui cycle with the clomid. Ithink i would have liked to try iui while using clomid. Wishing you all the best.xxx
Thanks lovely, in a way i'm looking forward to the scan so i know whether i'm responding ok. Hooe you're doing ok. Wishing you every success with your journey sending BIG hugs xxx
hey poppy. Its great that your are looking frwad to the scan make sure u ask loads of questions. when my nurse scanned me it was quick and out the door but i made sure even though i was made to hurry up get dressed and go i still asked the questions.i could tell this was frustrating fr the nurse to keep asking questions probably becuz they get asked these qustions al the time. but that is what they are supposed to do anyway. i asked what size the follicles measured and what size it should be before it release an egg i also asked when to start baby dancing. If your were ove responding to the 50mg its likely you will respond to 25mg. Best wishes.xxx
Thanks lovely i do hope so and thank you for the tips on what questions to ask. I have already started a list lol. As you say, you're in and out so quick its so easy to forget what you want to ask. Hope you're doing okay xxx
Hi I asked my Gynacoligy for Chlomid but they said I wasn’t aloud it I don’t know why? They put me on northisorne tablets to force a period I was ovulating while on them I started bleed this morning I don’t know if it’s a period or implantation bleeding I’ve got pain on the right side of my stomach stomach cramps bleeding light and heavy , any chance of pregnant after this bleed?
Keep phoning lovely and jot down any symptoms. I'm so sorry i can't be more helpful, i don't know enough about Clomid and only just starting it myself so all new to me. I hope you get on ok when you call in the morning xxx
My understanding is it's meant to help with stimulating ovulation, although does come with side effects and i was advised to take for no longer then 6 cycles. Don't be afraid to ask your clinic when you phone the reason for not being prescribed clomid and how it works. Best of luck lovely xxx
