First ivf , on day 5 of Gonal f

Hey everyone . I’m on day 5 on my Gonal f injections and they’ve found 34 follicles in total . They are 10 mm in size . They have up’d my dose from 225 to 300 . Is 10mm sound about the right size for day 5 ? I have for more injections to go . Thank you x

Hi, I’m on day 5 of gonal f although only actually had 4 injections. That sounds like a great number of follicles! I have no idea about the size tbh but mine were similar at scan today so think it’s ok. I didn’t have as many but they couldn’t find my right ovary so only could count one side! When is your next scan? All the best x

Hi Cassie . When I posted this I was referring to Friday just gone so I have been for my second scan today ! The sizes today were between 12mm and 15 . They say I’m on track to have around 16 mature eggs on Friday which has made me really happy . So it looks like you are on the right track with growth of your follicles aswell 😀 That’s a shame they couldn’t see into one of your ovaries . Is this your first ivf attempt ? All the best xx

Hi Smcphie. They need t grow more, but start drinking extra water in case you might be at risk of over stimulation. Good luck! Diane
