Hi all,
I’m 5weeks and the only symptoms I’ve really had is the off bit of boob tenderness, that comes and goes. I read that steroids can mask symptoms and wondered if anyone on here has experienced that?

Hi all,

I'm on steroids and haven't got any symptoms either, feel a bit tired but no sore boobs at all, only symptom is the occasional pully twinge feeling in my uterus, usually at night time. Everything feels like it's going really well and tests are getting darker so 🤞
Hoping it's true about steroids masking symptoms.
I’ve also had twinges, mainly evening. My boobs I can feel when I take my bra off or if I’m prodding but nothing like I was expecting.
How far are you and what dose of steroid you on?
My sister said they wanted to give her steroids to mask her morning sickness as she had it so bad. But in the end they didn’t need to as it went shortly after... so must be some truth in it?
Wishing you lots of luck xx
I'm on steroids and I really didn't and still dont have many symptoms at all....and as you know that's with twins. I'm not sure if it's the steroids or not but some people just dont get many symptoms!🤷🏼♀️xx
Thank you! 🧡 heading others in steroids without many symptoms feels me with hope. Roll on scan day!! Climbing the walls lol x
The wait is agonising!! Hang on in there & good luck.xx
I had some nausea on steroids but my sickness kicked in properly when I came off them. From 13-20 weeks I was really sick so the steroids definitely masked the sickness for me. When are you stopping them?
Apologies for the tangent, but I’d be really interested to know how you had managed to access steroids? I had them for my last transfer but we’ve been told I’m not allowed them due to COVID. We only have 1 embryo frozen so it means an open-ended wait to do the transfer xx
Thanks for letting me know. I’m guessing you won’t have a problem getting repeat prescriptions then? You’re right it’s so frustrating 😖 x
Hi,
Why are you on Steriods and not a Pituitary Inhibitor like Zoladex?
Thanks
I’m on steroids too, now weaning off (9 and a bit weeks) and I must say my symptoms were and still are not really strong. I feel nauseous from time to time, have some food aversions and am super tired but that’s about it. I have not thrown up or anything. Maybe steroids have something to do with it. I started on 4 a day a week before transfer and now am only on 1 a day and finishing this week.
I’m the same. I’ve got abit if boob tenderness but even that’s nothing big and i get abit if nausea every now and then, which half the time I’m wondering if it’s in my head... 🤣🤣 I honestly can’t wait fir my scan, this has been harder than TWW. Does it ever get easier.... lol x
Hope you are enjoying your pregnancy 💕
Yeah, it’s so hard waiting for this confirmation that everything is still ok. I have a scan every week just to make sure that everything is still good. When is your first scan?
First scan next Monday with EPU, then one later next week with clinic. 2 in one week 😂😂😬 I’m likely to do the same with scans. Maybe every other but I just need the reassurance. X
Assume you’ve had your first one? X
Yeah, I just can’t relax! 2 in a week - that’s good and will put your mind at ease.
I’ve had 3 so far and I’m 9 and a bit weeks. I bought a package from the clinic where they’ll see me every week until 12 weeks. It’s just for peace of mind.
Keep us posted with how your ultrasounds go! xxx
