6 weeks bleeding then spotting, is there hope?

I'm 6 Weeks pregnant today with IVF 5 day frozen transfer. Last night I had bright red bleeding and cramps. The blood was enough to see in the toilet but then did lessen a bit so I could see it on tp when wiping but did not show up on a pad overnight. Today it is more of a dark brown spotting and very faint on tp but I also passed a small dark red clot this afternoon. Still having mild period like cramps and a bit of an upset stomach. I have a scan Monday but this is my first pregnancy so I'm very nervous.

If the bleeding/spotting continues to lessen or stop completely should I assume it's okay? Has anyone else experiences something similar?

Its completely normal at the stage your at to have spotting, although it doesn't make it any easier. It is really common. Wish you all the best for your scan in monday 😘💗

Hi it’s not normal to bleed but it is common and doesn’t always mean the worst (There are so many reasons for early pregnancy bleeding). It’s good news that it has changed to brown as this is older blood. Your clinic should be able to tell you what’s going on Monday. Wishing you the best of luck 🤗 Xx
