Hello, I’m 9 days post transfer of a day 6 blastocyst from donor eggs. I tested this morning with a first response and got a bfn. Three more days till OTD but wondering if anyone got a bfn this late and then bfp? Much gratitude. Xxx

Hey just wanted to say that I also had DE transfer of a day 6 blast but didn’t actually test until a day after OTD. (I was too scared!) But in my research on the merits of testing early I found that lots of women could get a late BFP. It can take the blast up to 5 or 6 days to implant so you’d only be 3 or 4 days in which is early to detect HCG. Think the min is a week which is why it’s a 2ww (implantation window plus the week for HCG).

Thank you for your reply and prayers Lililily. I’m hoping for a late bfp...I’m pretty sure when I was pregnant with my now 8 year old son, I didn’t get a bfp till quite late and that wasn’t FET. How did you go when you tested? Hope all well. I feel strangely calm...which I definitely didn’t last cycle. As though I know it will eventually happen and I just need to stay calm and count all my blessings. Thanks again for your reply, and I’ll keep you posted.
