Hi Shelly. I must admit I don't know much about egg grading, only embryo grading. One to ask your embryologist for guidance. Good luck! Diane
Hi, From what I can gather different clinics seem to grade eggs differently. I am no expert that's for sure, all I know is from my own experience I had 2 low grade C, so a C- really. But my Dr at the clinic told me not to worry too much or put too much on it because he referred to grading as them assessing how pretty they are, not to neccessarily do with how well they might do when put back in.
And I did get pregnant with a low grade C, and I had some super helpful replies form women on here telling me their success stories with their grade Cs too. My favourite was one forum friend who simply replied my 2 grade Cs are asleep upstairs right now
Hopefully someone else can offer you some more expert advise x
Im not sure if you mean the grading of your embryos rather than your eggs as I see you have had collection and fertilisation updates. I cant say for sure but was this your 3 day update? It may be that what they mean is you have 2 embryos with 8 cells and 2 embryos with 6 cells. I guess you would need to get them to clarify but if so that 8 cells is just what they are looking for on day 3 and the other 2 are just slightly behind so all going ok so far.xx
