Hi ladies

I had my AMH. Blood test two weeks ago its my only thing left before i will get my referral started IVF

How long did it take from the referral up until the start of the treatment?

Hi Hanna, It took me 1 yr 3 months, however that's as there are more gynae tests when you get to hospital, and I needed a hysteroscopy. Hope all goes smoothly for you, should be faster if no issues are identified xx💕💗

Hi Hannia, I went to the GP in Oct, had my first appointment at the NHS IVF clinic in Jan and i was on treatment by May. This was in 2018. Be prepared for other tests etc that might need to be done . I have no idea how this compares to other women's experience. I just want to wish you the very best of luck. I find these websites useful:

It didn’t take us that long for the referral to go through it was mainly just all the paper work that came after about 6 weeks to 2 months after paperwork had a follicle scan, another semen analysis and hiv blood test them started treatment.

Hi Hannia. All depends upon your clinic waiting lists. Keep in touch with your clinic and let them know that you are willing to accept a cancellation, should one occur. Good luck and I do hope it's not too long. Diane

Hi, I had my first appointment with hospital in Nov 2020 and they said wait is around 4-5 mo ths from there.
