7 week scan *photo warning *

I've just had my first scan at 7 weeks, but instead of feeling overjoyed at seeing a strong heartbeat, I came out feeling all kinds of emotions after being told our bean is only the size of 5 weeks.

The doctor has prescribed progesterone, and has asked me to return in 2 weeks' time for another scan.

Has anyone else been in the same position? I really don't want to lose our little miracle after a 3 year TTC journey and 1 miscarriage ☹️.

Tight hugs . 💐💐💐💐Some people told me it worked out ok for them when I measured 5 days behind . Just do one day at a time. At least with progesterone you’ll have the best chance. My clinic wouldn’t do anything I asked . I was ok at the re scan but few weeks later the wee things heart had stopped beating . Today, you saw it and hold it tight whilst you know it. I can truly say I enjoyed every day I had , just wished it had been longer. Sending love and hugs sweet pet 😘💐

Hi RhinoCat 🤗. Thank you. I'm also seeing a TCM Practitioner who gives me herbs and an accupuncture session each week. I have PCOS and she managed to get me to finally ovulate. She said her aim now is to get me to 12 weeks 🤞🏻.

I've just seen some of your previous posts. You have been through so much 💐. All the best to you for a speedy recovery 🌈✨❤️.

So so sorry you're in this position - for me unfortunately it ended in a miscarriage. It's the most difficult thing waiting to see what's going to happen and as RhinoCat says all you can do is take it one day at a time. What helped me a bit was knowing that it was all down to whether the embryo was viable - either it did have all the chromosomes it needed and would catch up, or it didn't and was unfortunately never going to be a baby and my body would clear it out. But if the little thing does have the potential to be a baby you won't lose it, if that makes sense, you'll only lose it if it was never going to work out whatever you did. Sending massive hugs, take really good care of yourself because this is such a difficult time to be going through whatever happens xx

Thank you for your reassuring words LCharlton. I've been driving myself insane Googling what's the best way to make it grow. I'm so sorry to hear you had miscarriage too. Fingers crossed this cycle will be the one for you 🤞🏻✨✨ xxx
