Does anyone have info on embryos grades?
Embryos grades: Does anyone have info... - Fertility Network UK
Embryos grades
As an example:
3 - means it is expanding (1 is the earliest stage and at 6 the embryo has completely hatched).
A - means there is a good ICM* (composed of many cells that are compacted)
B - means the Trophectoderm is fair, composed of fewer cells
* The ICM is the part of the embryo that develops into the fetus.
ICM quality depends on the number of cells and how compacted they are. It’s kind of like the way you’d make a good snowball. You want a good amount of snow, and you want it tightly packed, otherwise it will fall apart.
The Trophectoderm is the part of the cell that becomes the placenta. Like the ICM, trophectoderm quality depends on the number of cells and how cohesive and packed together they are. The trophectoderm is like an igloo which needs many blocks of ice that fit together well otherwise it may fall apart.
Hope that helps. Found a good paper with chances of success by embryo grade too. Still lots is due to luck 💖
Thank you
Thank you everybody, i am 42, had four eggs out of four follicles and they told me that my 4 embryos are grade A.
I am in 3rd day after fibroids removing surgery and after six months they can transfer my embryos.
Wish u all the best too.
Fantastic results Hanna - 4 out of 4, and grade A!
Now you have some time to focus on your pre-FET wellness before the next round I personally, and it seems so many here on this side, found FET transfers to be much easier on the body than fresh. Hope you have some good vitamins etc to prep your body in these coming months. Also always good to check your thyroid levels too
Can I just say I love your website - it helped me out massively! So much accessible and clear information, thank you!!
