Are c grade embryos really bad?? My acupuncturist seemed really underwhelmed by our transfer news!

That's annoying. How rude.

Since the clinics don't show success rates related to grades it can't be that much of a factor.

People have had bfp with lower grades and people with high quality embryos have had bfn.

I agree with Emmab178. I have 1 c grade frosty and really unsure whether to do an FET but I then read so many stories of pregnancy with c grades.. but it is worrying. How many did you have transferred?

I had 2 x day 5 blasts grade D! 😩 but embryologist gave me 30% chance and said she has ladies having healthy babies from grade D's. I'm on day 6 after transfer it's killing me the wait. Good luck xx

That seems very unfair and not what you want to hear. I agree with the others..there are lots of women who have BFP with lower graded embryos and vice versus. Keep positive x

Personally I wouldn't read too much into the grades. I got a bfn from an aa grade embie back in march and got a bfp from a lower grade blastocyst last week...at 5 days I reckon it's too early to really tell....I wouldn't worry xxx

I wouldn't get too worried about grading. Both my embryos that were transferred were A/B. I got a BFP but miscarried at 9 wks. A lot seems to depend on how well your body keeps the pregnancy. Good luck!xx

We never asked what grade our embie was that we had transfered on monday. They just said it was a good blastocyst and I left it at that xx

Sometimes science is comforting and sometimes it's worrying. When nothing can be done to alter a result, I find having faith more reassuring. Faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains. This verse is keeping me going. For all of us who haven't had top grade embryos put back, dig deep for that faith and forget about statistics. Statistics are useful for planning next steps but when you're in the moment and can do nothing else, they can cause anxiety. Praying for us all. Xxx

It is rather a matter of chances.

You can have a baby even with d grade.

In case of acupuncturist I think he was disappoint with results in compare with his contribution. He hoped that his help would give you the best result.

P.S.: This is just my opinion.
