Hi everyone, I’m just posting looking for I don’t know what - advice, reassurance?!
I had FET on 2/9 and BFP on 16/9 which I think makes me about 5+4 weeks. I had lots of nausea and breast tenderness up until this week where the nausea has more or less settled and my boobs feel normal today. I’m with an NHS clinic and my scan isn’t until 12/10. I don’t know what to do. I can’t shake the feeling that I’ve miscarried, I just feel so different from how I felt last week. This is the furthest we’ve got after natural miscarriage and failed fresh transfer, and this was our last egg. I’m really anxious but feel like all I can do is wait for 2 weeks until my scan - I think I’ll be crazy by then ☹️
Has this happened to anyone else? Such a fluctuation of symptoms? Do I try and get a bhcg for reassurance? Although the normal range at this stage is large so it might not be very specific.. and probably too early to see anything on a scan anyway. Sorry for the long post, I’d really appreciate your thoughts. I’m feeling quite anxious and not sure what to do
Thanks xx

Hi what you’re experiencing is completely normal. It’s common for symptoms to fluctuate day to day and does not mean the worst. What helped me in the early days was to switch of from these kind of groups, reading stories about loss did not help me and made anxiety worse so be very selective about what you’re reading. Best of luck with your scan and try to enjoy it, you’re pregnant! X
Hi there, thanks so much for your message. I agree, staying away from these groups for a few days would probably help - at least to get my head together! I can’t seem to put my anxiety away. I’m going to ring the clinic tomorrow, at least to share my worries and then try to just take each day as it comes!
I would request bloodwork done to see if your HCG is still rising. A Sudden loss of symptoms for me ended in miscarriage. I went to bed with symptoms and woke up with them gone however and it doesn’t necessarily sound like your diminishing symptoms have been as abrupt? I hope this is not the case for you. ❤️❤️❤️
Hi there, thanks so much for your message. So sorry to hear about your miscarriage. This is so tough.
I’m going to ring my clinic tomorrow and get some advice. An hcg would help I think - I cant face the thought of waiting another 2 weeks with no answers.
I totally know how you feel, this process is grueling and I definitely couldn’t just ignore that either! BTW- I’ve learned that sometimes you have to push your clinic for what you want. So if they are hesitant about testing, I would push them and tell them this is what you need. Hopefully after getting your HCG tested, you’ll feel relieved! That’s what I’m hoping for you!
I was new to this board. So people had to forgive me when I was not savvy with the website, abbreviations etc. I was 42 years old and that time 6 days past 5 day transfer of a donor egg embryo and felt the need to “talk” to others rather than continue to simply stalk those boards ha. In the last years I’d got pregnant on my own and subsequently had 3 miscarriages (2 conclusively genetic issues, 1 inconclusive and all lost before 8 weeks). I had 3 failed IUIs & IVFs as well before moving straight to donor eggs. It wasn't a fast deciasion though, rather painful. Anyways, we decided to continue our trip in Kyiv. Too many people on boards told they've got good experience with them, so we desided to try out luck there. I could not take any more disappointment. With all the times I was pregnant I felt no symptoms and so was never even able to be hopeful. I was constantly worrying. So when I was 6dp5dt and I felt nothing and of course was bringing me right back into that negative space. The odd thing was, I had zero symptoms from the estrace and progesterone. so maybe I was just not someone who was very sensitive to that stuff. Anyway it turned out to be success – finally, after long years. We did it!
