Hey ladies,

I’m very scared right now... I have been to toilet and I have very pink blood on my tissue when I wiped! I’m 9 day post of my day3 egg transfer!

Please can someone talk to me.... could this be my period?

Xx

My friend bled in her final week quite a bit and she thought it was her period. But I now she has a beautiful baby girl. So I wouldn’t worry too much.

Thank you for the reassurance, it’s my first round of ivf I’m very worried! I’m trying to stay positive! X

Could be irritation if you're using pessaries? Or just a general sensitive cervix. Or implantation bleeding. Or many other things. Stay positive hun and rest up over the weekend. Good luck x

It’s very light and pink and only there when I wipe, I’m keeping fingers crossed. I don’t feel different tho I would usually feel funny if I was due? 🙈 xx

When I had irritation from the pessaries it was only there when I wiped. My infertility is caused by a progesterone problem which causes spotting many days pre-period as my levels dip and rise, this bleeding, while more when I go to the toilet, continues as normal discharge does. I've become a bit of an expert at analysing my own spotting! But it doesn't mean I don't panic every time I see it. Rest up, and don't insert the pessary too high tomorrow. It will still absorb if it is lower down, but perhaps lay down fully horizontal afterwards!

I do one in morning and a night so I have done it now and I’m in bed, but tbh I feel pains like a period. If it’s not meant to be this time around then I just have to pick myself up and try again xxx

in reply toKer1

Sorry you're feeling cramps now. It could still be a positive so try to act like it is. I know how hard it is though. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you x

I think pink and light can be a good sign of everything implanting and setting in. Fingers crossed my lovely cx

Lots of ladies on this forum seem to have stories of having bled during 2ww and gone on to have a healthy pregnancy. Hoping all will be well for you too xx

Oh my goodness, I know. It’s terrifying and you are completely helpless. Hang in there and hoping you get your BFP xx

Hun, if it's only there when you wipe it cannot really be periods, can it?

Only implantation bleed shows when you wipe cause there isn't much of it and not many women get the implantation bleed as it's lost somewhere while making its way down...

Relax, just few more days to go before you test...

Thank you Hun .... it’s seemed to not be there as much now, it’s the feeling I have 🙈 I’m going to rest up and take things easy xx

Hi, I agree hopefully it’s just some irritation. Try not to worry and there are so many signs that could be read either way. Your first round especially is nerve wracking. Good luck and keep us posted xx

Hey, I bled pretty much every week for about a day till I was 10 weeks pregnant, sometimes quite heavily and I am now 36 weeks!! It's much more common in ivf apparently!! Pink is good though and it could just be implantation bleeding, hang in there! X

Did you really... it’s gone darker this morning but very little! I have so much go on in the past I have two MC and ectopic, so every little thing is putting me on edge. I’m hoping it’s just irritation or even better the implantation-bleed.... thank you all for getting back to me I will keep you all posted xxxx

Yes hun a little early but i understand you wanting to find out, its usualy at least 2 weeks before you get a true reading to be sure, ha ha chocolate cake helps every time if in doubt eat chocolate cake always me feel better or sick ad i tend to eat a big piece ha, but worth it, n7ce the husband is there with you for support, he is probably just as anxious but they hide it well, good look hun best wishes.

Heyyy! I hope that you're doing good! So you had your egg transfer. And you had some bleeding recently. Actually, the body is a fluid and dynamic structure. There are many sensations that people report during this period. Some have pains, some have cramping and some have to bleed. You're needlessly worrying about this. Some doctors have referred to these pains and bleedings as implantation related. That may be the case but no one knows for sure. Certainly, with implantation, the uterus is undergoing changes. So if the timing is appropriate, then these feelings could certainly be related to it. So don't worry. Well, I think you should also see your doc in this regard. This will remove your every misconception. You'll be relieved then. I hope that this helps you. Take care of yourself. Much love!
