Egg collection

Hi all. Anyone experienced egg collection in crgw? I have one on wednesday and im petrified!! If not crgw- anyone experienced it with just midazolam and femtynol? I had propofol before and i think that might be why i fell asleep. Any advice or experiences would be really appreciated xxx

I’m with that clinic and have had 3 fresh cycles and a few frozen. Currently waiting to do fet number 5

The team are amazing and you will be very well looked after I’m not sure with the meds as I was always put to sleep xx

Did you have general anaestetic or was it the same that they do for everyone?

I just had midazolam at my clinic and all I remember is the anaesthetist saying “this will relax you” and I felt fine and then he moved around the table to take my mask off for me and then the next thing I knew I was being woken up in recovery. Obviously they might have given me something else too I just don’t remember. I’m not sure if they topped up with anything else while I was asleep either because I was in there for longer than normal thanks to my ovaries having dropped down behind my uterus and having 40 follicles with 33 eggs 😂 but I had no side effects from the anaesthetic at all and it was honestly absolutely fine.
