Good morning ladies , didn’t post for a long time in here as I was waiting for my histeroscopy and the pandemic hits and everything stopped. Finally got an appointment for a laparoscopy and histeroscopy in 16 of September and hospital told me to self isolate for the next 14 days which is fine because I will use my holidays days . We hope then to start the treatment for the next move ( transfer number 4 🙈) have 2 frozen embryos from last round . My concern is if the clinic will ask me to self isolate as well I will not have holidays days left to use then and will be difficult to explain to my boss that I need 14 days off . In your clinic does they ask you to self isolate for 14 days before transfer? I want to start as soon is possible but I literally don’t know what to do .
Finally almost there : Good morning... - Fertility Network UK
Finally almost there
My clinic is asking people to self isolate only if they have visited a country not on the exemption list at the moment. Probably all do different and can change rules quickly, so best to ask
I visited two clinics for my treatment and non asked us to self isolate. Just to be extra careful and stay within the rules. But I’m not sure what your job is. I can work from home. I did have to sign things to say I understand the covid risks. Good luck! 🤞🏻
My clinic wanted 7 days of isolation before egg collection and 7 days after. Not sure if it was compulsory though.
Thank you so much ladies , I will go for hopefully at the beginning of December so fingers crossed everything wil go well 😊
Every clinic is different, so it is really worth checking ahead of time. For a fresh cycle I had to self-isolate from day 21 of the previous cycle. Because of my long cycles this is 3 weeks now (this is me slowly going crazy...) and EC is likely to be Monday. Used a combination of working from home and holidays. Is not great, but this is my priority now, so I gotta go with it. I do understand that they don't want to take risks.
