Working after transfer

Did anyone go straight back to work after transfer? I’m a hair dresser on my feet all day and went straight back to work as my clinic said to carry on my normal life in the 2WW

Now I’m panicking as everyone’s advice on here is take it easy, binge watch tv show, no house work, no lifting/bending, relax.... 😭

I feel so guilty and wish I had took time off

Please someone tell me they have had a positive after working as normal

It’s only been 3 days since I had a frozen transfer and I’m loosing the plot.

(Sorry for the long negative dragged our post)

Hi love. I worked after transfer (immediately on the same day and until probably til around midnight because of busy job) on my first go and ended up pregnant (sadly ended in mmc at 13 weeks, but that really can't be related!). I have transfer today (!) and again I am working this morning beforehand and in the evening as I am taking time out for the transfer, and I've just started a new job. If women doing any sort of work (including housework!) stopped pregnancy.... the human race wouldn't survive as 0% of people would get pregnant, ever!

I worked from the following day after transfer and it worked, although it was a chemical. I remember that 2ww was the most stressful time work and personal which astounded me it was positive. The one time I rested it didn't work. I think a bit of movement is good!. Good luck xx

I agree with the others, the round the worked for me (sadly MMC) was the one I was super busy with work and had to commute into London (4 trains 4 tubes and 4 hours travelling carrying my laptop etc) every day that week, I was convinced that would have a negative impact but actually it ruddy worked that round!

The rounds I have lain on the sofa cradling my stomach have resulted in BFNs across the board!

I also think its important for your mental health to keep busy and keep distracted. But you will know what feels right for you. Good luck!! xx

I took 2 weeks off work. I'm a nurse and didnt want the stress hindering my chances xx
