Hi ladies!
After the double transfer of our two (untested 4AA) embryos earlier this summer resulted in BFN 💔, we decided we weren’t ready to give up. Starting another round of stims tomorrow. So happy that we have another chance but also feeling so nervous at the same time.
Similar protocol as last time, but I have been prepping with testosterone gel for the past few weeks and will also be adding in a new injection called Saisen this round (in addition to Menopur, Rekovelle and Orgulutron). I have low AMH, and just turned 39. Last round collected 4 mature eggs (from 7 follicles) with 2 fertilized and frozen at day 5.
I’ve done this before so it feels a bit less overwhelming to think of all the injections ahead but also knowing what the next couple of weeks entail, I can‘t help feeling like I am getting mentally/physically prepared to ’go into battle’. 💪🏼
Hoping that all goes well and that it will all be worth it. It is such a wild ride, and I know that there are no guarantees but feeling hopeful. Come on baby! 🤞🏼
