Hi everyone,

So it's been a long journey (not as long as others) but long enough started in 2021 had my tube removed in the November due to blockage both tubes blocked but my right tube was taken out as had issues with it for a while

Then we took a break as it was a bit much finding out that your the one with the issue really shocked me so took a bit of time to come to terms with everything then we done egg collection in the following October due to set backs with medication and ovaries.

We got 12 eggs collected but only 5 made it through to be frozen we got good grades on 2 of them being 5AA and the rest not far behind which we was happy about considering we both had covid and wasn't feeling ourself we decided to give my body some time to get back to normal so after a few months of waiting we got the all clear from the docs and are now in the process of doing a frozen transfer on a natural cycle I've been taking pessaries (which are not comfortable but has to be done) and we are just waiting for transfer,

Just wanted to share my story as I know sometimes it's nice just to see how other people get on,

Also what did you guys do before transfer to boost your chances be nice to hear other people's stories as I don't know many people going through this and alot of people don't understand how hard it can be.

Wishing you all luck and baby dust

🥳🥰

Hi Jojo, Your journey sounds quite similar to mine. I’m down a tube too (and an ovary). Good news is it hasn’t stopped me becoming a mummy. Thanks to IVF I have a 2 year old little girl, and another little person on the way. Wishing you all the luck for your transfer and beyond x x

Good luck with your transfer! I did reflexology in the run up to my second FET and it felt great. I also got myself a pair of lucky socks and went to Nando's after the transfer. There is a lot of mythology around having a pack of fries on transfer day. Stay calm and positive. Good luck!

Hi Jojo. Just wanted to wish you well with this. Lots of ladies try acupuncture and reflexology before. Beware of strong oils though as embryos don't like them. We have a yoga class this week, details further up the page. Good luck! Diane
