I’m back on a forum again , Hi all .

We are doing it all again ! We have a gorgeous 3 year old from previous cycle of icsi , only 2 eggs were viable and the 2nd egg took FET. I had endometriosis in my left ovary it cleared from me being pregnant but still it pains me time to time and no joy of a ‘natural’ pregnancy despite trying again . I also have low egg reserve I’m most likely to hit menopause in the next few years I’m 34 . So we decided let’s do it again then if it doesn’t work we can’t say we didn’t give it a 100% try . We’re doing long cycle , ICSI I should be getting my BT results back on Monday to say hopefully I’m suppressed enough . I forgot just what the hormones are like ,hot sweats , moody omg I’m shattered !

Best of luck Leah, lol I did the long protocol this time and whilst I found it easier then all the injections thr first time - gosh the down regulation one!! Hot flushes , night sweats and I was absolutely in a brain fog !! Was glad when it was out of my system xx !!

Oh I know I forgot how rubbish it makes you feel, will be glad to reduce and start stimulating. Xx at what stage are you at now x

That’s ok - I kind of knew from the other day it wasn’t good, so just feeling kind of numb - can’t face thinking about starting over just yet. I have a few days of work as my b day week so once official test day 20th is over I will have a much awaited glass of wine to celebrate my bday!!!

We’re in the same boat as you.. have a 2.5 year old and wanted to give it one last shot so we know we at least gave it our all!

I was on short protocol last time and did long in June (the long protocol is tough with the down regulation!!!!) I unfortunately developed mild OHSS so had a freeze all. Having FET in Tuesday though 😬😬 x

I do thank you. It was only mild OHSS so only felt rubbish for about a week.

Have you worked out when egg collection etc might be? X

Yes so if I’m suppressed enough il have scans 28th and 31st Aug egg retrieval 2nd and back in on 7th . Last time we had 8 eggs 5 fertilised 2 were viable . I’m really hoping we get more than 1 we can use just in case , we will see . I’m glad your feeling better . How many Embies have you got frozen ? X

Good luck! My LG is 2.5 and going to book an appointment soon to start again. I’m scared though as we only have one embryo 😬 x

Probably ring up in the next few weeks for a consult then hopefully start early Oct 😬 as we have a Butlins holiday booked in Sept so don’t want it clashing X

Hi Leah, 👋wishing you lots of luck with your cycle! 🍀I’m doing a long protocol this time with ICSI too. My last cycle was a year ago due to my thyroid going bonkers so also forgotten all the side effects. Hot flushes and feeling so shattered! 🥵Xx

I’m glad I’m not imagining it , I felt like I was going to pass out last week at work what with that and having my period too 🥵 and the general heat of the day

Oh I know, the ridiculously hot weather was not ideal when starting an IVF cycle! When’s your next scan? Mine’s on Friday. x

Mines booked in for the 28th then prob another 31st I had two last time . Ooo I’m so excited for you , I shall have my fingers crossed . Il get an email tomorrow to confirm then it will be Wednesday that I start gonal f and reduce buseralin x
