7dp5dt: Here we go again 🙈 (I’m an idiot!)

So feels like history repeating itself to my last FET earlier in the year with chemical pregnancy!

I’m at 7dp5dt and had cramping last night and brown bleeding and cramping on and off today since I woke up. Feels like exactly the way my periods start and actually I’m due them today in real life.

I have randomly had a really sore wisdom tooth for the last Few days and keen to dope up on painkillers If this transfer hasn’t worked so when my eBay delivery just arrived with the pregnancy tests in it for next week I of course STUPIDLY tested 🙈 It’s like I was watching myself doing it and I couldn’t stop myself!

Now I’m on the crazy testing every day rollercoaster again and hoping it doesn’t fade away like last time. I will also be running to the loo every 5 seconds to see if the bleeding is heavier/red.

Please no one do this to yourself! I’m such a numpty!!!! I need locked away during the 2ww for my own good! 🤪

Yeah faint positive but far too early and I’m cramping spotting so now I’m just in the crazy worry stage as going the exact same as last time🙈 And yeah the heat ain’t helping eh? 😂 xx

Aw yaaay and noooo. What a rollercoaster for you!! It must be impossible not to think worst case scenario from your experience with a cp but please hold onto any feeling of hope. You're pregnant! Can you contact the clinic to express your concerns about previous experience? Or did they give you extra progesterone this time as back-up? Hope you're okay! Really really hope this is your time xx

Thank you it’s just far too early to know yet. I said to clinic before the transfer about extra progesterone or tests or anything different and they just said no same as last time. The last time I was spotting and bleeding at 7days they just said to keep taking the Same meds and test on OTD so I know there isn’t much point phoning them again this time. I only have myself to blame Lizzie with my impatience! 🙈 Thank you so much for your encouragement though and you are right a bit of hope is still hope. I’m actually okay As I know there is nothing I can do but wait. I’m just mad at myself for testing 😊 xx

One way to look at it, you'd still feel crazy rollercoaster emotions if you'd held off testing and now you know so that's a stronger position to be in.

Not a stupid suggestion at all If it wasn’t for advice on here I wouldn’t a clue what the meds were even for 😂 never mind know to ask the clinic anything!

Oh Twiglet, hang in there at least it was a positive and no trigger Injection right? so Can’t be that - you’ve done so well , you’re so very close to test day, hide the tests and do something nice. Praying with all my heart then when you do test again (on test day obviously) 😬 I mean it hide those tests!!! 😄 that you get a beautiful strong BFP wishing it with everyone nine in my body for you. I really hope this one does stick and the spotting doesn’t turn into anything worse. For now focus on a positive mindset. One thing I will say if this little one doesn’t stick - brown spotting this early, especially accompanied by chemicals is a sign of low progesterone levels or that your body doesn’t absorb it as well as it should. If the worst should happen and you go for another round then please please force your clinic to test for progesterone throughout your cycle and up the levels it gives you. This happened to my friend. She had about 6 or 7 cycles. She never tested early but always had spotting early and AF came before she finished her meds. Then one cycle she tested a tiny bit early and got a BFP but it quickly went. That was enough to convince her to get progesterone levels tested and she ended up on large levels of progesterone support. She had one further cycle which ended in a BFN, but had no spotting and AF came much later. The following cycle she upped the progesterone again and finally got her BFP and now has an adorable 6 month old. I truly hope this is your time and you don’t need to go down this route, but please do bear it in mind.

I had cramping and light bleeding about a week after transfer for a few days and I thought it was over. However, my HCG levels are rising nicely. Hopefully it continues and you have the same. X

Honestly we do love to torture ourselves! I did the same at started testing at 3dp5dt!!! Since that day I've checked for blood everytime I go to the bathroom- in the first trimester I checked everytime I felt 'something' going on down there 🙈. I still check now when I go to the toilet and I'm 31 weeks 🙈

Yep I felt the same way - I'm unfortunately a pregnancy blender too 🙈. When I'm not pregnant my body refuses to bleed- when I'm pregnant it quite enjoys itself with the excess bruising and bleeding. I've even got to have special medication when I go into labour to prevent me haemorraging. No reason for the wicked!!

Sorry you’re going through this bless you. I had bleeds - some were quite big bleeds with cramping, for the first 7 weeks of pregnancy. Although my clinic didn’t test my progesterone levels, they automatically upped my progesterone pessaries & whether it’s coincidence or not I’m now almost 30 weeks pregnant. Please don’t lose hope because you obviously can (and are) get pregnant but would definitely hassle your clinic with progesterone tests/meds. Best of luck 😊 Xx

Oh no 🙈 I’ve had to get my BF to hide my tests as I knew I’d cave and test early if I could get my hands on them.. I’ve been thinking about it a lot the last couple of days so it’s a good job they are hidden 😂!

Aww good idea! I blame eBay for delivering them early 😂 I was holding them when the guy gave me them and been worrying about the bleeding Just before he arrived and I honestly couldn’t stop myself it was like I was possessed!

Aww yea I can understand that and hopefully it’ll all be fine for you.. it’s horrible anyway never mind any added stress!!

I test on 18th so still feels like forever away.. in one way I really wanna test and in another way I’m too scared 😂😂 Xx
