So here I am sat nervously in the waiting room of the clinic ready to start my first (and last...!) private round of ICSI after a successful NHS frozen round 3 years ago. We were extremely lucky to have two good enough to go in the freezer. I am having a scratch today with my frozen blasto transfer booked for next month. I opted for a scratch as I met someone who had numerous fails and only had success with a scratch.....twice! So she said to try it. So here goes. Very nervous as I’m out of practice getting my lady bits out! 😂

Here we go again....
Ha ha ha it feels like Ive had my lady bits out for the world these days! If you havent already and still have time then take a couple of painkillers prior to your scratch and take a sanitary towel with you for afterwards. Wishing you luck!xx
Ha ha it sure gets like that doesn’t it?! The norm getting them out 😂 aaw thanks for advice hun. Totally forgot painkillers but remembered a sanitary towel. I’ll pop to the chemist straight after and get some. My partner had to work so here on my own, feels bizarre to be doing it all again. Hope all goes well with your treatment xx
It’s like getting back on a bike! Good luck, hope the discomfort afterwards isn’t too bad! Sending you lots of baby dust xxx
Thank you lovely! It just felt like period cramps for the day. The nurses kept me talking throughout it. Wasn’t the nicest but was over really quickly! You too, all the best with your jouney 🙂 xxx
