Fitbit Heat rate now dropping is it a miscarriage?

Does anyone else wear a heart rate monitor e.g Fitbit? What does your heart rate look like in early pregnancy?

I noticed after my miscarriage earlier this year that my resting heart rate had increased by 10bpp when I first found out I was pregnant (natural pregnancy). It then dropped back to normal sharply as my pregnancy symptoms disappeared and my miscarriage arrived at 6 weeks 1 day.

After a cycle of IVF I got my BFP. Again my heart heart rate has gone up more than 10bpm than normal (literally that was the only thing during my 2ww that gave me hope that it worked!). But now its dropping sharply. I'm 6 weeks 5 days. My boob tenderness isn't as prominent. I feel a bit sick but think that might be more with worry than anything else.

I have another week till my viability scan and I know that there is nothing I can do if this one isn't gonna stick around either. But if anyone else has experiences of this i'd really appreciate it. Xxx

This is the first time I’ve worn one - mine rose from around 67 to 74 by 6 weeks then dropped back down for ages so I wouldn’t worry

I’m 10 weeks with twins and it’s now back to 74

I don’t think the RHR is the important bit - it’s the average heart rate or how quickly your rate rate increases just doing the smallest bit of activity - I’m finding just a simple walk mine will shoot you to much higher than it did before but then go back down to what seems to the new normal of 74

Thank you so much for your message. Hopefully I'll be exactly the same. I do it shooting up with the slightest movement. I need to stop looking for bad signs and focus on the positive :)

Congratulations with your happy double trouble news!

Hello.... first of all am so glad your dreams did come true and you have twins on the way. Huge congratulations 🎉

Just wanted to thank you too for this comment reg fitbit heartbeats per minute. I was worried since my transfer my resting heartbeats per minute is dropping 🙈 Then I read this. So this morning I was out for a walk not fast or anything and my peak zone was 166bpm. I wouldn’t even have that running a 5k pre -transfer...

Not relying on that of course but not had good could of days so this gives me some hope 🤞🏼

Its definitely not a perfect science, and can easily be impacted by loads of external factors, I know its impossible especially when you have had a MC previously but try really hard to think positive and not stress over this as it won't do you or your baby any good at all. I am sure all is fine.

Wishing you a successful pregnancy! Congrats! x

Thank you. Its so hard not to read into everything. I know its not helpful, nor will it change the ultimate outcome. Will try and keep myself distracted and stay off Dr google! Xx
