Normal to feel absolutely nothing 6DP5DT

I am 6DP5DT (FET) and I feel absolutely nothing. I know this has got to be the most frequent question but is it normal to feel nothing?

I have read that people have had sore breasts, nausea, cramping and a whole host of other symptoms.

I had period like cramping until about day 4 and now I feel 100% back to normal. It is so disheartening to think I’ve got to do it all again ☹️

Has anyone felt like this and had BFP?

Totally normal! Remember that hcg is only just started to be secreted and it takes time for this to change the way we feel. It is soooooo hard as we get into those later days of the 2ww. When is otd? Xxxx

Thankyou for your reply - I know that what you have said is the logical reason to no symptoms or anything yet but my logics have completely gone out of the window in this 2ww!

My OTD is 10th August.

Yeah. I know all about logic going out the window!! That’s why you normally find me around 5dp5dt in a pharmacy buying up all the tests like an addict. Ahhaha One week left for you then ! 🥳

I am a 3dt of 2 embies and have had af-like cramps pretty much from day1. Then last Thursday (3dp3dt) i started getting weird stabbing all over my lower abdomen every so often. It's not overly painful but still enough for me to say 'oooh'. I have sore boobs, a bit of nausea, constipation and I'm thirsty a lot...all linked symptoms and could just be the progesterone so....am hopeful one day then talk myself out of it! My mum is a midwife, or used to be back in the 70s. One of the checks she keeps telling me to do is if you can feel up inside of yourself, it should feel squishier as your cervix preps for pregnancy - sorry tmi 🥰 Suffice to say I am not a midwife or medic of any kind so I'm not really sure. My oh offered to have a go (told him to take a hike!) and I'm not letting my mum have a fish around midwife or not! 😝

I really want to test, but my period would be due this Thurs, so if its not arrived by Saturday i might cave ❤

Routing for you - everyone is different xx

Hi Hayleyloula, I am exactly the same. I cant remember if it was day 2 or 3 i had a feeling in my tummy it wasnt cramping but the next day it was gone and i have had no symptoms at all since. Its hard not to worry but like recidwen said it is still early so fingers crossed for us both.! xx

Same day as you. I had 2 transferred as they were not great in terms of grading but i know alot of people say that some places don't grade the embryos and there is alot of questions around the grading process so who knows xx

And also that doesn’t mean that they won’t implant!!

Will you test early? Xx

Exactly! we have to try and stay positive as hard as it is sometimes. I was thinking of testing a day early as it falls on a Monday and if its not positive i then have to face work even though i am WFH. So Sunday would probs be best for me. What about you?

This is true - stay positive and not try and evaluate every symptom 🤣

That’s a good idea! I think I will do the same although I do have annual leave booked but would be nice to have company then be on my own in case it is bad news!

All the best of luck x x

Hi,

I had 3 transfers and my only successful round was very similar to yours. I had period type cramping on day 6 but nothing else. Previous cycles I had had lots of symptoms but they must have just been side effects from the meds.

It can definitely happen without all the usual symptoms we look out for. Wishing you loads of luck xx

Thankyou very much for your reply it definitely makes me feel abit easier knowing there are people that have experienced hardly any symptoms and have had BFP! Congrats to you for yours!!!

Lots of luck to you too x x x
