Thick cervical mucus after loop excision

Hey,

I was hoping for some advice! I had a loop excision 7 years ago... been trying for a baby for 3 years and had two failed IVF attempts this year. I’m convinced some of my issues are down to my cervix. Basically I don’t get any fertile mucus at all, it’s always white and reasonably thick and I’m sure it’s been like this since the loop excision all of those years ago.

I just wondered if anyone has the same issue, and if there’s any advice or guidance you can give on how I can resolve this? Xx

Hi cat lady I had a loop excision also 7 years ago but I’ve not had a problem with fertile mucus. Does it perhaps look different for every women but it doesn’t mean it’s not fertile? Have you raised your concerns with the doctor? (Although that’s not always a help anyway!)
