Does anyone know if there is anything I can do with unused fertility drugs ? I was getting ready for IVF 4 for baby number 2 and 3 days after receiving £1200 worth of meds and 1 day before my appointment I found out I was pregnant which was the biggest shock of my life. We are of course very happy and feel lucky after having been given only 1% chance at being able to conceive. I have so many meds and it just feels really wrong to throw them away, I have not even opened anything , the fertility company said they could not take them back. Any advice is welcomed ?

Hi Kierz.
I would contact the clinic you were going to have treatment with and see if they can take them. I believe it's illegal for you to either sell or pass them on to another patient, for example.
Massive congratulations!! What a lovely surprise! Wishing you a smooth & happy pregnancy! ☺️ x
Congratulations! I’ve given my out of date meds to the clinic for them to use as part of their sessions with new patients. Like Finchee said I don’t think you can pass them on for use by other patients as they won’t know how they’ve been stored etc x
1% what was it based on
Blocked tubes ( both of them), luteal phase deficiency, diminished ovarian reserve, hashimotos
