I have had my scan today, on a good note it was in the right place as was worried it was going to be an ectopic as they had mentioned it so planted that scared seed in my head.
Everything is growing and looking really well. We heard the heart beat.
On the not so positive side the heart rate was slightly low... they wanted it between 90-110 and it was 85 so I have to go back next week for another scan.
Has anyone else had this?

What was your baby's size? Was it measuring according to your dates? If it was a bit smaller, perhaps you ovulated later and the heartbeat just only started and will pick up? I had an early scan a few days ago, thought I was 6+3, but the baby measured a little behind at 6 weeks exactly. The heart rate was 112, they said it was good at this early stage. A couple of days can make a huge difference so early on. I keep my fingers crossed all will be fine at your next scan.

Oh, sorry! Did not realise it was IVF. It does seem on the low side for 6+6, but some babies are slow starters and can catch up. Only the next scan will tell. Fingers crossed!
Sorry i dont have any experience of this as I was 7+2 at my first scan. I really wish clinics didnt scan this early, it's so disheartening.
Seeing and hearing the heartbeat is really good, I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you for next week. Put your feet up and look after yourself xx
