Hi

Am 47 not had period for 3 months, can anyone help me with answering for me

So I have a frostie in the freezer, fertilised waiting to go in.

Can this still be done if I not had period for 3mths, I no they stop them anyway and thicken the lining before transfer.

So could this still be done.

Thanks in advance.

I think what they’ll do is try and induce a period - a friend of mine maybe had 3-4 periods per year and they just give her various medications to cause her to shed her lining even if it’s really really light and then give her more medication to build the lining up to what it needs to be

I have irregular periods due to pcos, it wasn't an issue. I was prescribed microgynon to bring on a bleed and then took the usual FET medication. Hope this helps x

Oh so frustrating, maybe try after 4pm? Hopefully you can at least leave a message and they can get back to you. I know the hospitals in Scotland were a little slow to get going again so presume they are super busy.xx

Hi Hoping4just1. Fertility specialists are well geared up to inducing a period and building your womb lining up ready for FET. Hope it all goes well and your little frostie is soon home where he/she belongs. Diane
