Hello ladies, I have a strange question. If the pregnancy test shows positive, is there any chance that it came negative in blood test?

I think sometimes it can later be negative if it’s a chemical pregnancy.

If u have had ivf, the trigger injection can stay in your system for 10 days post injection and give a false positive but if u haven’t had ivf and your testing positive - congratulations xx

It was an ivf but my triger was 15 days ago and that’s why I’m comfused so much

No...a blood test will pick up the smallest amount of HCG in your system and is much more accurate than a urine pregnancy test. Best of luck xx

Hi, you can get a positive result on a home pregnancy test which sadly aren't viable. My clinic always tell me to have a blood test to confirm the level of HCG as unfortunately chemical pregnancies can show as a positive on test but not be a viable pregnancy, which I have unfortunately experienced.
