Hi all so day 2 of first ivf / icsi cycle... wondering if anyone has tips to help a miracle happen!
I'm doing acupuncture...I don't find it that relaxing as I can never turn off my brain but I'll keep at it!
Also eating 3 x Brazil nuts a day
Drinking 1 x pineapple juice with spirtulina shot a day ( will eat pineapple core after transfer - if I get any eggs that is!)
I've heard about keeping feet warm?
I'm going to TRY and be as calm as possible but for me this is the hardest thing to do as I'm naturally a worrier/ expect the worst type of person π
Anybody else have any tips ..I'm willing to try anything at this point! π

Hi Kath, good luck on your journey. Some old wives tales that kept me occupied were pomegranate juice and castor oil packs - both to help with a good quality lining. I also kept my feet warm and had 2 Lindt chocolate squares after each jab. Admittedly the last was a self invented option but for me it made me look forward to jab and brought an a bit of positivity to that part of the day. On a less silly note the zita west ivf mediation recordings are really good for relaxing. I listened to them every day throughout. You can purchase on iTunes although Iβm not sure about Spotify/android etc.

Headspace is also good! I am like you - I find even walking for no reason really weird hahahaha. I am a very outcome driven/ guarantee person hence why IVF is torture for someone of my character! Sending prayers your way! Xxx
Just wanted to say good luck for your cycle. I know itβs really REALLY hard but honestly the best thing you can do is to try and relax a bit and not get too hung up on on the little things you should be doing. Try and stay busy!xxx

The best tip I ever got was to download the Mindful IVF app - its brilliant - it does a mindfulness session for each day of your cycle and really helps you be a bit more zen for 5 mins a day at least! And his voice is LUSH!
Off to the shops I go! I already drink kefir everday with a fruit smoothie I make but will also try the whole milk ( maybe with my square of chocolate after my injections!! ) xxx
Have you heard of Mindful IVF? Itβs a great app. Really relaxing. I did acupuncture and reflexology in my first cycle. I found them both very relaxing. Let your mind work through what it needs to. IVF is so stressful x
