How much does ICSI cost in england? Is there NHS funding for ICSI?
ICSI COST?: How much does ICSI cost in... - Fertility Network UK
ICSI COST?
The cost for ICSI varies from clinic to clinic but it’s normally around £1200.
If you are eligible for NHS IVF funding and the consultant decides you need ICSI, it is included x
Icsi was more expensive than IVF at our clinic (in the north east) and we paid around 7k for IVF including meds xx
£1200 is the cost of just adding on ICSI, not the whole IVF cycle. Most clinics just give you an add on cost to a normal cycle x
I’m at an NHS hospital that offers self funded treatment if you don’t qualify. An ICSI cycle there is £4000 (compared to standard IVF at £3200). My dr’s private practice charges £10000 for a round of ICSI (or £7750 for IVF) for a round of ICSI so it varies massively. None of these include drugs.
ICSI is offered on the NHS though if you qualify for the funding - have you spoken to your GP about a referral yet? They should be able to tell you what is available in your area x
I know you asked about the UK, but if you come to France, IVF is, by law, no more than about €1,200 no matter the clinic, and ICSI about €600 extra. This does not include cost of drugs, which range about €400 to €1,000 depending on how many you need.
