Wellman or superdrug for morphology, count & motility?

Hi again,

I have posted just once since joining- but I don't think I made the last post very clear.

I am hoping to get some advise and reassurance on Sperm improving supplements.

I am dreading being told that IVF is our only option, but I think that will be the case.

My OH has had results back from his first analysis- he been diagnosed with Oligoteratozoospermia & aggregation.

His numbers are -

Volume- 4.2

Concentration - 2.3

Sperm number 9.7

Progressive motility- 20%

Non- progressive motility - 22%

Immotile - 58%

Morphology - 0.5%

Currently we are using the superdrug supplements, but Have heard that the wellman tablets may be better?

Just want to give us the best chance for improving the numbers and conceiving naturally.

Feeling pretty down 😪

Thanks xx

Hi I have no idea but I have my partner on wellman conception on the advice of my consultant. He also has extra selenium, zinc and arginine. No idea if it will help but we are giving it a go! X

Thank you so much for your reply!

So if we took the wellman would we need to take the extra bits too?

Xx

I think it has it all in but I just like to give him a little extra! I’m not sure there is a right or wrong answer I think we are just going to try and see if it helps x

Hi! My husband has been 3 months with Impryl, following the doctor's advice. His numbers have improve from 1million to 4 million and morphology from 1% to 2.5%. Whatever supplements you are going for, they need at least 3 months to show results. I hope you find this helpful.

Hi Lavander, I would try Impryl. It's a bit more expensive but much better. It was recommended to my husband by a urologist and also a nutritionist. He took Wellman for a long time and then switched to Impryl. Good luck with everything x

Hi Kalyon, if my husband starts taking impryl, does he need to stop other things he is taking such as vitamin C, D3, Acetyl carnitine and his Pro creation multivitamin?

Hi Lilly, I think Impryl is fairly comprehensive. My hubby also took Proxeed and Ubiquinol I think. I'm not familiar with Acetyl carnitine and the pro creation vitamins though. Have a look if they are mentioned on the package so he doesn't double up. Good luck x

Try Proceive for men. Wishing you nd your partner lots of luck!!!

Hi. My partner takes proxeed. We had problems with sperm count and motility, and it has improved significantly. Good luck xx

Proxeed Plus was recommended by our clinic too. It is pricey, but compared to the other costs of treatment it pales in significance! Xx

We also used this and it made a significant difference! Worth the price tag

Can you PM me and I'll get you the name of the best ones, I cant think of th name right now, but I can look them up tomorrow for you. We went from round 1 15 eggs and 5 fertilised normally to round 2 (on supplements) 16 eggs and 14 fertilised, I'm now pregnant, I 100% believe it was the supplements xx
