Age 22. Egg freezing, is there any point? Haven’t read of any success stories

Hi. I’m getting ready for 1, 2, 3, however many rounds it takes to get a high number of eggs to freeze. I’m single and at university.

I read all the posts on here and I haven’t found anyone on my position at my egg. In fact i haven’t read anywhere.

Because of the cost and me not even knowing for years and years if the process works and I’ll get a baby am I just wasting my time and all the money £6k per round?

Feeling hopeless really. I read a lot of posts where ladies have said things like “age 34 low ovarian reserve for my age of 9, 11,etc etc” and it makes my heart sink. I’m 22 with a reserve of 8 and so everything feels so pointless.

Hi I’m 23 now, I found out at 20 but waited until I was 23 so that I would be eligible for nhs funding, sometimes I get the same thoughts but the “what if I didn’t do it and it would have worked” gets the better of me every time. In the end it will be worth it for piece of mind that we tried everything

Hi Emily. Thank you for your reply. Have you got the funding? I don’t qualify but I’ve written to my mp as the criteria is based on couples. Please could I ask you what your AMH levels are and how you feel about the whole thing? It’s good to find someone my age. X
